Credit Analyst
The interview had 3 rounds. Round 1 involved general and technical introductions, a look at brief financial statements, cash flow problems, financial ratios for credit analysis, economics, and general finance news. Round 2 was a deep technical dive into my Python projects and how I built them, followed by discussing my internship in the credit department at Tata Motors. Round 3 was an HR round focusing on me, my education, hobbies, family, and future expectations.
- Can you give us some general and technical introductions?
- Could you briefly discuss financial statements?
- Do you have experience with cash flow problems?
Credit Analyst
Had a good interview, it was focused on economics, finance, and the main financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow). Also covered recent economic news, general analytics, and specific financial terms like repo rates, SLR, GDP, reverse repo rates, and capital markets. They asked about current ratios, liquidity ratios, and debt ratios.
- Can you discuss balance sheets?
- What about income statements?
- And cash flow statements?
Credit Analyst
The interview process was quite extensive and demanding, though ultimately engaging. It covered various in-depth aspects of accounting, financial stability, and problem-solving relevant to the role. My specific interview lasted 45 minutes, and it was just one of four total rounds. This isn't an interview you can approach casually; thorough preparation is essential, especially for recent graduates.
- Could you list and explain all the insolvency ratios?
- Can you define insolvency ratios and go into detail about each one?
