The hiring process starts with the initial application, then you do some skills assessments. These include a grammar test and a sample editing assignment. The evaluation can take some time, but it’s necessary to evaluate if the editors meet the company’s quality standards. Ragini was always friendly and helpful, communication was smooth. In summary, the process is thorough but fair, and it gives a good understanding of the expectations before starting.

You will have an MCQ grammar test with 3 difficulty levels, followed by an editing test where you have to edit 6 small passages and spot mistakes. Then, you'll edit a life sciences passage and do a critique test. If you pass all these tests, you'll have an HR interview and a personal interview.

The interview process started with a grammar test that lasted about half an hour, and if I passed that, I had an HR interview. The next round involved an editing test, which I found quite challenging and it took over 3 hours to complete, and I don't think I did very well on it. The only downside was waiting over 2 hours for the second round interview to start, and then the test itself took 3 hours. But, apart from that, it was a really positive experience.
