Customer Service Representative
I applied online and heard back from recruiting super fast, like within a day since I have experience in the industry. I had a long phone chat with the recruiter where we went over the job, my background, and if I wanted to continue. They mentioned a phone interview and then an in-person one. The next day, they emailed saying it would be an in-person interview on-site the following week. When I went on-site, I met the manager, talked about my experience, got job details, and was told they needed to hire right away because of unexpected openings. They said I'd hear back by the end of the week. Less than an hour later, the recruiter called to say I'd move on to interview with the director of customer service. We set up another on-site interview for the next week. In that interview, I got task-based and personality questions. It went well, and they said a decision would be made by the end of the following week, again mentioning they needed to hire asap. A week passed... then another. The recruiter emailed to say they were interviewing elsewhere and would decide by mid-month (two weeks out). Another week passed... and another. They told me to hang tight while they finished interviewing at the other location. A week, then two more, went by, and they asked if I'd travel for training. I said yes. Two more weeks went by. I was told to wait a bit longer as they sorted things out on-site before hiring. In total, it was 12 weeks from first contact until I took a job with another company. For contrast, another company had two 1-hour phone interviews and one long in-person interview with 6 people, and I got their offer within a week and a half. I ended up emailing the recruiter to let them know I'd accepted another job.
- If a customer is angry because they ordered ten items but only received eight, how would you manage that scenario?
Customer Service Representative
first I spoke with the recruiter to see what jobs I might fit with, some of them were short term. After that, I passed a computer and phone test. Then I had an interview with a supervisor and she told me I got the job. After that, we had to wait for the background check and drug test to be completed.
- Do you have call center experience?
- Are you a fast learner?
- Tell me about the training class.
Customer Service Representative
You'll meet the team lead of the project you're interviewing for in a small room. It's a one-on-one interview that lasts about 30 to 45 minutes. They'll ask you a mix of personal and professional questions. After a quick tour, you'll be taken to complete some assessments.
