I applied online and then emailed a recruiter. It took a few weeks for them to reply, which was a bummer, but I eventually had a phone interview with a recruiter. They asked some basic situational questions, and it was a really nice, relaxed call, not too stressful or demanding. The whole process took quite a while, and they were slow to get back to me. I was really excited about this opportunity, but because they were so slow to respond and disorganized with scheduling, I kind of figured maybe their decision was for the best. Overall, it was a pretty easy process and not too stressful since the questions were pretty standard.

I was reached out to via email to schedule a phone interview. It was a straightforward phone screen, and I was informed during the call that I would advance to the next round at their office. They set up an early morning interview, and since I live more than 4 hours away, I inquired about travel reimbursement. Boom Lab does not cover travel expenses, so it's worth considering that before agreeing to the second interview. The interview itself was a half-day event involving a group case study and a brief one-on-one meeting. It was really unclear what they were looking for during the group activity, and I left feeling quite puzzled. They also have a policy of not providing feedback after interviews, which was particularly disappointing given the significant cost of travel to Minneapolis and an overnight stay. Overall, the interview experience was acceptable, but I'd only recommend accepting a second round if you're already based in Minneapolis.

First, I got an email to schedule a 30 minute in-person interview. It was pretty conversational, asking about my background and why I was interested in Boom Lab/consulting. Then, a few days later, I had a second in-person interview with a Sr. Recruiter, which was very similar. After they give you a verbal offer, you then interview with a client to get placed. That was set up really fast, within a day, and I got the official offer from the client shortly after. The whole process took about a week, which is probably not typical, but they had urgent needs then.
