It was a 3-round process. First, a recruiter call where they asked some basic Linux and cloud questions. Then, a technical round which had easy to medium level Linux and cloud questions. They also discussed my resume projects and might have asked some Linux debugging questions. Finally, an HR round with behavioral questions and salary discussions.

I had an interview on Friday, Feb 9th, 2022. It started with an HR round, which was perfect. Then came an assessment, which was good. After that, I had a 1.5-hour technical interview covering Splunk, AWS, and Linux basics. This round was excellent. After the interview, they told me I was great, had the required knowledge, confidence, and skills. Then the HR called and rejected me. They then had an Evaluation Round with a senior project manager who asked questions about my resume, Linux, AWS, and Git. Again, he reviewed my position and said I met the requirements. Then on Tuesday, I got rejected, being told I lacked basic skills and confidence and didn't match their basic requirements. It's confusing because they initially said I was good, confident, and had what they needed.

  • What's the process for installing Splunk?
  • Can you explain some Linux commands?
  • Basic questions about AWS?
