The first interview is with a screener who has no sales experience. I don't think someone unqualified for the role should be able to decide if a candidate moves to the next phase.

Got referred by a former colleague and also got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, which was a funny coincidence. The HR laid out the interview process for me: 3 rounds - an initial HR screening, a technical chat with the Director, and then a final Panel Interview. They also gave me a heads-up on the decision timelines and, surprisingly, they actually met them, which is pretty wild. Honestly, after 10+ years in IT and doing tons of interviews, this has been the best process I've been through. I've already accepted their offer, so yeah, it was great.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case Other

I was first reached out by a recruiter on LinkedIn who liked my resume and asked me to formally apply. We talked about the job, pay, and how onboarding works. Then, I had a formal video interview where they asked me behavioral questions and went over my resume. Next, the Director of Sales wanted to chat to see if I was a good fit. After that, I got another interview with the Director of Sales. Before that, I had to do a self-assessment and give 5 references, 2 of whom had to be former bosses. Then, I had another self-assessment to complete. A week later, the Director of Sales and HR interviewed me. They told me I needed to prepare a presentation on why I'm a great fit for the role. Also, there was a 30-minute role-play and another 60-minute video interview. Two days after that, I found out I wasn't getting an offer. I can accept that, but it was frustrating because the recruiter never mentioned needing assessments or references upfront. I feel like I wasted those references. The whole process took about a month and was tough to manage with my full-time job and family. I was exhausted and ended up back where I started.
