Talked with 2 managers who covered the Standard SDI type interview. They reviewed my resume. Be careful or just don't be like me and actually tell them a weakness you have overcome. If you didn't work well with others and then later overcame that don't tell them. Bad choice on my part. Show small growths and let them ask questions. I talked with someone after and it was my fault not theirs so practice your answers to questions you make up. Recommend minimal details and don't be yourself yet. That's the worst advice anyone ever gives.

I went through three interviews with the company and made it to the final one, which I thought went really well. They did mention that there's a lot of turnover there because people don't like their titles or that titles don't mean much due to pay overlap between grades. They said they'd send an offer the next week, but it took over 10 days to arrive because of 'HR issues.' When the offer did come, it was for a title one level lower and 15k less than what I interviewed for. They said I got 2 out of 10-12 questions wrong in the final interview. Honestly, it felt like a bait and switch, but I'm glad I didn't take it; this place is a walking red flag.

So after I applied, I had a 30 minute phone call a few days later. It was pretty standard, they asked about me and my experience and the job. Then, they asked me to come in for an electronics test. For the Engineering Technician II role, the test had about 15 multiple choice questions on basic analog circuit analysis. They graded it right there and then I talked with an engineer about the test, especially the questions I got wrong, and also about my background and the company. It wasn't really an interview, more like a discussion. The next step is an on-site interview with the lead Engineering Technician.

- For the technical test, focus on DC analysis questions that might include inductors, especially if you've been mostly doing AC analysis with resistors and capacitors for filters lately.
- Make sure to review DC analysis and inductor concepts before the technical test.
