Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cradlepoint.
Sales Representative
I had two phone interviews and then one in-person meeting where I spoke with three different managers. They basically went through a list of standard questions covering a lot of ground, like my sales process and goals, but nothing too difficult.
- As an experienced Sales Representative, can you share an instance where you received and accepted coaching?
Inside Sales Representative
Two people showed up, one in a t-shirt and shorts. They took a while to realize I was there for a different position than the one they were interviewing me for. The phone interview was supposed to be for a different position, and I had prepared for that one, not this totally different one. Between the unprofessional attire and their confusion about why I was there, it was quite an experience.
- So, this is a different role. Are you interested in it?
Sales
After going through 5 rounds of interviews which included an HR Screen, two interviews with the Hiring Manager, one with the VP, and one with the RVP, I was asked to create a 30 60 90 day plan. I was ghosted after this. Later, I found out that even though the role was fully remote, they were looking for someone located in a major city.
- Can you share some innovative ideas you have for this role that are not currently being implemented?
