First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cracker Barrel.

it was a very simple basic interview, the people in the working space were nice and understanding. The questions were based off the work and your hours. I went in and chatted with the manager and a few workers and they seemed very close and nice.
- What is your understanding of hospitality?
Server
The whole process was pretty straightforward. I only had one interview with the General Manager, which lasted around 20 minutes. They wanted to know about my previous experience and my reasons for wanting to join the team. It was all very casual, and they mentioned they offer training.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What makes you want to work here?
Server
Super simple interview process. They're really open to hiring folks without any prior experience. Mostly just asking about when you can work and maybe a couple of 'what if' scenarios. If you've worked before, they might ask about times you took charge or showed leadership.
- What would you do if a customer wasn't happy with what they ate?
- Tell me about your availability.
- Can you share an example of when you demonstrated leadership in a past role?
