First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CPI Card Group.
Project Manager
I had a great interviewing experience with the CPI Card Group team. Communication was clear and updates were on time. For example, I was told I'd receive updates about the next steps early in the week, and I received a call the following Tuesday morning. The recruiting team was knowledgeable about the role and answered all my questions. For more detailed questions they couldn't answer, they directed me to the right person. The interviewing process was very friendly yet professional. They had a very positive attitude and showed enthusiasm for their work and the company. Overall, it was a very comfortable and fast process for me.
- Can you prepare the PM process overview from one of your previous projects, based on the prompt provided by the team?
Accounting Specialist
I went through two interviews and it seemed positive. I really wanted the job. The job was reposted so I applied again and was rejected again. Not sure why they keep reposting without hiring someone. The recruiter reached out, I did a screen interview with her, then interviewed with the accounting manager. She seemed to really like me. Then I got a rejection email about a week later. I'll keep applying since they tell me to keep trying if I see job postings.
- Can you tell me about your accounting experience?
- What are your current responsibilities?
ERP Engineer
The whole thing took like a month. First, I talked to HR on the phone. Then, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a virtual panel interview with three other people. The last one was with HR again. They said they were still considering other candidates, which was good to know. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in working at this company?
Machine Assistant
It was a good and straightforward interview. I was kind of nervous because it's my first time interviewing and didn't know what questions I was going to be asked. She was asking about my previous job and what I liked about it and not liked about it also how I would solved my mistakes to not let it happen again. There's also cards test after the interview to sequence the numbers least to high.
