Started with a recruiter chat about my resume, the role, and my job search. Then had a 30-minute call with a manager. We reviewed my resume, and I had to deeply explain a past project: its parts and the tech stack. The final stage was a 3-person session (managers/leads) with each part lasting 30-45 mins. The first part was a general experience discussion with some basic tech questions. The second part was a coding challenge using an IDE I picked, with screen sharing. The problem was manageable, and the interviewer was helpful. Key is to vocalize your thought process. The last part involved analyzing some code, figuring out how to make it better or what was wrong. I also got asked about linked lists, needing pseudocode, and OOP concepts. Got an offer 2 days later but turned it down.

So I started with a phone screen, then after that they had me come in for an in-person interview. I met with three different people after HR gave me a tour. The first person asked me some technical questions. Then the second person talked about their department and asked me some questions about leadership. Lastly, I met with the department head and we talked about team structure, company culture, and the future vision for the department. The whole interview process took about 3 hours.

I had one Skype interview with two of the developers. It was pretty laid-back and not too technical. After I got my offer, we had multiple more Skype sessions to coordinate our arrival and start at the company.
