I spoke with HR first. They seemed nice but were rushing the interview. I had to do a skills assessment (EQ, problem-solving, etc.) that took about 45min-1 hour. HR said they'd reach out with next steps, but after a week of silence, I had to ask and was let go. It would've been better to be told directly instead of me having to ask after they said they'd be in touch.

HR told me the interview would be 30-60 mins and include a press release test and a grammar test. When I got there, HR was unorganized, and every room she tried to take me to was occupied, so we ended up in her office. I met and interviewed with two higher-ups, then HR took me to another room for the grammar test. By this time, over an hour had passed since the interviews. She said she'd get me in 30 mins. I asked about the press release test, and she said she'd email it later, which I thought was weird. I said if I'm only taking the 2-page multiple-choice grammar test, I'd only need 15 mins. She agreed and said she'd be back in 15. I finished the test in ten and then waited OVER AN HOUR. I wanted to find her sooner, but the office was big, I'd been moved, and I wasn't sure if she was in a meeting or if I could find the room. Two and a half hours had passed since I arrived, and I was late for my job. I went to find her office and found her hanging out with a coworker. She saw me and said, 'OMG I FORGOT ABOUT YOU I'M SORRY.' She then nearly rushed me out. I had to remind her about my grammar test and ask again about the press release test, and she said she'd email it that day. THREE days later, I emailed her for the test, NO RESPONSE. I had to email someone else in the company to get her to send it so I could finish the first round. Very unprofessional. Worst interview experience ever. This company needs to fix its HR department.
