Environmental Engineer
So there were two interviews. The first one was about an hour long, and it was mainly standard personal questions. The second interview was more technical, focusing on environmental impact assessments. It took them about two months to get back to me with the results.
- What is your work motivation?
- What drives you professionally?
Structural Engineer
I interviewed with two structural engineers. It started with standard questions about overcoming challenges and motivation. Then, it moved to a technical part where I had to draw the bending moment and shear force diagrams for a beam with multiple supports.
- Can you describe a challenge you faced and how you overcame it?
- What are your main motivators?
- Could you illustrate the bending moment and shear force diagrams for a beam that has several supports?
Structural Engineer
It was a 1-hour written test with basic conceptual questions. Then, there was a 1-hour discussion about my experience. Finally, there was a 1-hour HR round with the manager. The question paper covered RCC design, steel design, and some industry-related topics.
- Can you explain the Working Stress Method?
- What about the Limit state method?
- And steel design?
