Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CoverMyMeds.
Account Manager
The interview process with CoverMyMeds was overall, a great experience, though it was long and grueling. The final presentation day required taking off 6-7 hours of work from my current job. I was told they went with someone else with more industry experience, but that I was a finalist and really impressed them. I was disappointed but learned a lot and was honored to make it that far. I have friends at CMM and heard the candidate hired was internal and already being prepped for the role. It's tough for external candidates to compete with an internal shoe-in. Although I wasn't offered the position, I was impressed with the recruiter's professionalism and how they clearly described the company culture, perks, and benefits. I still want a chance to get my foot in the door at CMM, as it seems like a perfect long-term culture fit where I could make an impact in healthcare/IT.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your hobbies?
Account Manager
The hiring process involved two phone interviews over a couple of weeks, and then a final in-person meeting at CMM. The whole thing spanned about two months. I met with potential coworkers and managers for all the interviews, no HR folks. It was pretty low-key and relaxed, not many standard interview questions. They mainly asked about my professional experience, what I liked and disliked about past roles. The interviewers seemed more focused on finding someone who would be a good fit for the role and the company, rather than testing my interviewing skills.
- Can you paint a picture of an ideal day in this role?
- Do you find yourself preferring a day with a set routine, or do you like variability?
Account Manager
HR reached out via email and scheduled a phone interview. Before the interview, I had to take an IQ test called the Wonderlic. The questions asked during the interview were easy and straightforward.
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Can you introduce yourself?
