Sales Representative
I was talking to a recruiter who thought I might be a good fit. I told her I was interested, and she got me an interview. I met with the owner, and we talked for a long time. He mostly told me about the industry and the two open positions. Then I waited to hear back, but sent him an email thanking him. Things got quiet, and the recruiter hadn't heard anything either. I called a few times, missing him at first, but then decided to leave a message. He called me back and said he'd decide in a few days, but had to wait another week. I called him back again, and he hired me over the phone. I started a couple of days later.
- Can you tell me about your experience in sales?
Sales Representative
Straight Forward interview with management. Must first be screened by an inside recruiter, then a face-to-face interview with the Sales Manager, and after that a phone interview with the VP of Sales. Very fair and typical sales interview process. Want to know that you understand selling, that you're HIGHLY motivated, and that you have excellent people skills.
- What is your primary work motivation?
Sales Representative
I met Coverall at a sales convention. They reviewed my resume and asked me a few questions about my experience. As a recent grad, I didn't have direct sales experience but had relevant work and school activities. Two recruiters spoke with me, asking basic questions like 'What interests you in sales?' and 'Why Coverall?'. They were really nice and just wanted to see if I'd be a good fit.
- How do you handle stress and plan ahead for it?
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
