Technical Presentation

So, the interview process was pretty well put together. It kicked off with an HR screening, followed by a quick chat with the hiring manager. After that, there were a few rounds of tests and then a presentation. I was genuinely impressed with how organized it all was, it was actually the best interview process I've been through. The number of steps felt a bit much at first, but each one really felt like it was there for a reason related to the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It really feels like they’re using the job postings and interview and assignments to get professionals to give them free consulting work and get free ideas from talent. Major red flag!! The HR was super quick to schedule the next step and give updates. First interview was with HR, second is with the Senior Marketing Manager, third is an assignment, then they tell you thank you for submitting it, and schedule you for another call with the Senior Marketing Manager, but without telling you that this meeting is to go over the assignment, in my head they were interested in going forward. By this point it had already been 4 days since I did the assignment and submitted it, so I obviously don’t remember the reasoning and the answers by heart. They finally told me by email two days later that although everything is good, they decided to continue with other candidates. Two days later, they repost the job posting and sponsor the job posting on LinkedIn Jobs. The first round of applications had over 200 people applying. Impossible they didn’t find a single soul that capable of the job. And not only that but they also try to attract people and ideas in Canada (Vancouver) and USA (Bay Area) by posting the same exact posting in both countries. Getting even more free assignments and ideas.

The interview was pretty easy and straightforward, mostly behavioral questions that took about 20-30 minutes. They mostly focused on my past experience from my resume that's relevant to this role. Honestly, it felt very simple.
