The interview process was lengthy and quite a time commitment, possibly longer than usual for my specific hiring timeline. However, the people I met were pleasant and welcoming. The process included both one-way video interviews and subsequent in-person and online sessions.

Behavioral Presentation

I did a self-recorded interview first, then I talked with the manager, and after that, I had a conversation with a higher-up and the person whose job I would be taking over. So, there were 3 rounds of interviews in total. It all happened pretty fast. They actually called me to offer me the job on a Friday night, which was nice because I didn't have to stress all weekend wondering.

I applied online and then about 2 weeks later, I got invited to do this one-way interview. I had 5 days to finish it. The recruiting software sent automated reminders every day, and a recruiter from CIEE also sent an email to make sure I didn't miss the automated invite. For each of the 5 questions, there was a time limit, but I could re-record my answers as many times as I wanted. I didn't hear back after that.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you give us a quick rundown of your background, education, and web-related work experience?
  • Describe a project you're particularly proud of and what you learned from it.
  • What are your salary expectations?
