Intern
So after getting referred, the HR Manager gave me a call for the first interview. We talked about my fit with the company culture and also my technical knowledge. Then a week later, the hiring manager, who's the PR & Communications Manager for the Prestige Niche Division, interviewed me. This one was more about my actual skills and experience for the job, like if I had the right industry background and strategic thinking for the role.
- Can you tell me about your previous experiences in this department and the skills you gained?
Intern
It was okay but one of the interviewers was chewing gum the whole time, which threw me off. They asked some typical questions you can find online. Overall the main manager was nice and straightforward, the other one not so much.
- How do you handle working under pressure?
Intern
The process involved a group activity where participants had to present their individual ideas and also brainstorm a new product concept for the brand. The recruiters were very helpful and attentive, and the overall experience was quite positive. Everyone who participated also received a product kit from the brand.
- What are your preferences?
- What are your goals?
- What are your aspirations?
