We were split into two groups and did two activities. One was theory-based and the other practical. It was pretty easy; one involved finding outfits for different scenarios, and the other focused on the brand's values.

A Cotton On South Africa interview typically kicks off with introductions and a rundown of the job, then moves to questions about your personal background and your motivation for joining the brand. You can expect inquiries about your skills in customer service, teamwork, sales, and how you tackle difficult situations. They'll also want to know about your availability and flexibility for scheduling shifts. Given that Cotton On values enthusiasm, inclusivity, and a customer-first approach, the interviewer will assess your fit with their company culture and the fast-paced retail setting. The interview concludes with an opportunity for you to ask questions and get information on what happens next.

Group Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and received an email for an interview. It was held at an rsl and was a group session with about 20 people. We sat around two tables and were asked to draw our names creatively on paper. Then we did a 'get to know you' activity where we shared something quirky about ourselves. Next, we played a memory game, followed by a scenario-based question. Finally, there was a brief one-on-one meeting with an interviewer.
