Sales
It was a quick interview, they asked what hours I wanted, asked about my past sales jobs, and then asked me to sell them a shirt with a special offer. They didn't seem too excited about interviewing me.
- What are your preferred working hours?
- Can you tell me about your previous sales experience?
- Could you present a sales pitch for this shirt, including a special offer?
Sales
Cotton On interviews are individual responses, usually focusing on soft skills and cultural fit. The questions are meant to gauge your customer service skills, how you work in a team, and if you fit with the company values. They'll also check your basic qualifications and your interest in the role.
- Tell me about a situation where you dealt with a difficult customer and solved their problem.
Sales Assistant
We had a group interview on 29/10/2024 with about 60 people. We were split into smaller groups and rotated through three different stations. It was super competitive, with only about 10 out of 60 getting hired. Doing some research on the Cotton on foundation beforehand really helped me stand out. My tip is you really need to find a way to make yourself noticed because there are so many of you! Be confident, believe in yourself, and do your homework!! YOU GOT THIS<3
- What would you do if a customer needed help with an item, but your manager had instructed you to stay at your station?
- Can you explain how you would persuade a customer to purchase a Cotton On Foundation product?
- Given the scenario of a child's playdate, what would be your approach?
