It was a three-step process, and overall it went pretty smoothly and felt relaxed. The recruiters were really friendly, and it was easy to get things scheduled with them. I'd had a bad experience with this company's hiring process years ago, but this time it was way better!

It was a formal interview, but I should have picked up on the warning signs when all the questions focused on dealing with workplace gossip and bullying. Honestly, it's a pretty straightforward interview if you have extensive retail experience. The catch is, once you're hired, senior management engages in gossip and bullying, and if you react defensively or emotionally, they frame it as constructive feedback for your growth, emphasizing that delivery matters more than content.

Submitted my CV and application and got an email for a phone interview pretty much right after. Had the phone interview with the careers group person and it was great and easy flowing but then heard nothing for a couple weeks. Once I did get a call back I was told position was filled which was expected but my name passed on for other locations. Didn’t hear back after.
