First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cottingham & Butler.
Sales
First I took a 27 page personality assesement that was insightful, but not totally accurate. I think I passed and then had a phone interview. The interviewer felt robotic and I didn't think she would be a good rep for the sales department. I gave long sales answers but she wanted short, perfect answers. If you want to work here, give HR your perfect canned answer in the phone interview.
- Tell me about the most important professional moment of your life.
- What questions do you have for me?
Sales
It's a tough process to get an offer at Cottingham & Butler. You'll go through personality and IQ tests, a phone interview, and a sales benefit dinner which is a social test. Then there's a first round interview and a second round that lasts over 4 hours with top company folks.
- What do an elephant and a bee have in common?
Sales
It was a very professional organization. I was blown away by the growth and ability to earn great money. I would recommend this organization to anyone looking for a great future in the Dubuque area. I interviewed all over, but nothing compares to C&B.
- Tell me about your career goals.
