Software Developer
I'd like to thank you for the smooth and organized interview process. From the initial communication all the way to the final stages, everything was clear and well-structured. I really appreciated getting detailed info about the schedule ahead of time, which helped me prepare well. The interview itself was engaging and let me show off my skills and experiences relevant to the role. I felt comfortable during the whole conversation, and the interviewers were respectful and thoughtful with their questions. All in all, it was a positive experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Dot Net?
- Do you have experience with Web API?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview felt really hostile, more like an interrogation. The HR person seemed determined to find a reason to reject me, threatening to end the discussion multiple times. Despite this, I was a quick learner and thought I could adapt. The HR also emphasized that Cotiviti is a product-based company with no bench, and everyone is a top performer. They questioned my salary expectations, stating they couldn't meet 30 LPA and asking if I was open to negotiation, otherwise, they would end the call. I continued because I had a positive discussion with the technical manager and heard good things about the company.
- The technical interview was easy but the HR part was excessive and disappointing.
Software Engineer
It was two rounds. First round had three interviewers where they asked two coding questions (one was typical reverse a string, the other one using a lambda function). They also checked foundational knowledge in Java and Spring Boot. Second interview also had three interviewers. They asked another similar Java question followed by a SQL question, and then did a deeper check on Java and Spring Boot knowledge.
- Reverse and print the given string.
- Find all duplicates in the given array with a lambda function.
