Medical Coder
This company requires a lot for an interview. They gave me a three hour test. If you're a nurse, don't bother applying because they think it conflicts with the coding process, which seems odd. The managers were very rude.
- They asked if I was a nurse and why that shouldn't apply to the coding field.
Medical Coder
The HR person was a bit difficult, but the technical rounds went well. They gave me time to think and answer. They asked about my place of residence (no cabs allowed!). Many candidates were called in and then rejected. There was a lot of emphasis on communication. One manager spoke with an American accent and pointed out my grammatical errors, though I later learned he's actually a nice person.
- What is your plan for staying with the company?
- Can you tell me some personal things about yourself?
- Do you have a grasp of the technical basics?
