Cotiviti Interview Process First round: Online test (SQL, Python, Aptitude, Verbal Ability) Second round: Technical interview - In person offline interview Third round: HR interview - In person offline interview

The interview had 3 rounds. The first was a machine test with two assignments: one for Excel and one for SQL. For Excel, I had to analyze sample data to answer specific questions. For SQL, I was given tables and needed to write queries to retrieve requested data. The second round was a technical interview with a manager who reviewed my Excel and SQL test answers, helping me with parts I missed and focusing on logic over syntax. The final round was a 45-minute video call with a US Project Manager and Solution Architect. They asked about my current role and how my data analysis impacts business users, focusing on practical implications. The interview process itself was great and practical, but the HR follow-up was unprofessional.

They interviewed a lot of people to find just a few. The first interview was with Jocelyn Jackson, and we talked about my background with tech like Hadoop, SQL, Linux, and big data tools. She asked about my years of experience, particular projects, and past jobs, and also about how I make customer-focused solutions and work with others remotely. We also chatted about Agile, what drives me, and how I handle my tasks. The job sounded like it would be in a pricing and strategy group, working with a small team. The questions felt pretty scripted. The next round was technical, based on what I heard. They asked SQL questions, like how to use GROUP BY, the difference between joins and blending, and how analytical projects usually flow. I mentioned my work with healthcare data and cross-team collaboration, and how good my communication is. The last interview was with Janatta Washington. We talked about projects involving lots of claims, what kind of data I like working with, and if I'm good with SQL, Python, and Tableau. She asked about using APIs, getting data, and how I deal with boring tasks and setbacks. I gave examples of how I solve problems, adapt, and make things work better. They took a while to respond, a few months, and I suspect they were just interviewing more candidates because the job kept popping up on job boards.
