The interview experience was pretty chill, like as stress-free as it gets. It kicked off with a quick phone chat that had the usual stuff like 'tell me about yourself,' and they went over the job details. Then, there were two more interviews, though some folks only did one and still got the job. The first one was with my potential manager, and she mentioned they mainly stick to behavioral questions. So, just Googling 'Behavioral Interview Questions' should prep you! The next interview happened about a week later with three people at once, and they hit me with rapid-fire behavioral questions along with the classic ones (strengths, weaknesses, dream job, etc.). Both of those were short, like 20 minutes max.

The recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and we had a short chat about the job. She followed up with an email asking if we could do an official screening and then scheduled an interview a couple of days later. I actually never applied for this position. The office environment seemed rundown, with issues like burned-out lights on the sign and a difficult parking lot. Inside, the carpet was worn, the paint chipped, and the elevator was very slow, making me wish I could have found the stairs. I had mostly decided before meeting the interviewers. The interview itself felt disorganized and awkward. It started with some basic, scripted questions, then moved to industry-specific ones. There were two interviewers who would have strange silences while they figured out what to ask next or interrupted each other. They were dressed casually while I wore a suit, which I found disrespectful given the caliber of candidate they were seeking. They didn't present the role positively at all, and I found it hard to imagine a suitable external candidate. Since I had already made up my mind, I was just curious and asked them about negative Glassdoor reviews for the office. They both claimed ignorance, suggesting the reviews might be for a different location. I pushed further, asking about the specific issues raised in the reviews, but neither had any comment. I was genuinely relieved not to receive an offer.

Had a screening phone interview with a recruiter where we talked about the job and my background. Then there was a test for coding, clinical validation, etc. Finally, a formal virtual interview with 3 people. They asked questions about coding, clinical validation, and some basic behavioral stuff. It was tough, but everyone was really nice.
