It was an easy interview process. They mainly asked basic questions, and it seemed like they were primarily assessing team fit. All the interviewers were very pleasant. While I was waiting in the breakroom for my interview, other employees were very friendly and welcoming, even wishing me good luck.

It was a great and simple interview. They asked customer service questions. The recruiter asked a bunch of scenario-based questions about customer service, sales, handling rejections, dealing with difficult customers, and their concerns. It was only 20 minutes long. They also offered me the position right away.

I never got the address or instructions for the interview. I got confused when I got to the new warehouse location, which was a construction site. There were tractors and trucks building what will be the new Costco. I was sent to a trailer on the other side of the chaos, and that's where I found out Costco was interviewing 5 miles away. I wasted 20 minutes and was late to the new address. My car got covered in orange clay, and I was frustrated I wasn't given instructions. When I finally got there, I was greeted and shown to an interview area with a table and three chairs. Two men sat down with me. They asked the usual questions like 'tell me a time when you helped' and 'why do you want to work for...'. My favorite was 'tell me about when you turned an angry customer around'. I answered everything well and left feeling hopeful. The next morning, I got a rejection email saying I wasn't selected and could reapply. So I reapplied and was called and told not to. Then I got called three more times about the rejection email. I finally asked why I didn't qualify and what I could do differently. After being on hold, one of the interviewers said they were looking for specific criteria with the questions. I thought I was a great fit and had given great answers. The only odd thing was when one interviewer showed the other my resume and pointed at something. They asked if I got the rejection email again, which stung because I'd already gotten 5 calls about it. The interviewer said I could reapply in 2 months when the warehouse opens. I'm a hard worker, loyal, and hold myself to high standards. I go above and beyond and want to do a great job. Getting paid is the goal, but doing my best is the drive. I take care of my customers and am someone people can depend on.
