I first filled out an application, then had a 30-minute phone call. After that, I had an hour-long Zoom call with another person. Then I met with the regional manager in person for about 2 hours. I was expecting an offer after the interviews, but they had a problem with me shooting weddings on weekends, even though it's a full-time Mon-Fri job. They wanted me to completely stop shooting on weekends, which I found strange because my weekend work shouldn't affect my full-time job.

Started with a phone call from a 3rd party recruiter, then another phone chat with someone from Costar. The last interview was in person at their office. The whole thing was pretty smooth even if the calls were spread out, but that's normal.

I was first contacted by a recruiter who did a screening to confirm my qualifications. Then, I had a brief phone call with a Costar recruiter before the in-person interview. The actual interview was pretty straightforward with very basic questions, so my prior company research felt like more than was needed. I actually ended up asking them more questions than they asked me. However, the background check after the interview felt overly invasive for an entry-level role, especially since it's not a position of authority or involving money. They required a lot of documentation for everything, which seemed unnecessary and excessive.

  • Can you discuss your past work experience that aligns with this position?
