Software Engineer
Spoke to the VP who then laid out a plan for the upcoming rounds. Supposed to be 2 engineers, 2 product people, and 2 managers, then back to the VP. HR then schedules only half of the promised interviews. The interviews themselves went pretty well, but then the HR contact just vanished. Days went by with no response, and then finally a generic email came through. It felt like there was zero personal touch and zero explanation, which was an insulting waste of my time.
- Can you share an instance where you had to resolve a communication issue?
Software Engineer
First, a phone screen to check if your interest in the job is a good match for what the role actually entails. Then, a technical interview with two engineers. The questions are pretty straightforward, aiming to make you comfortable and see your thought process. It's less about trick questions and more about how you work independently and communicate. After that, there's a team interview with a Product Manager and a Product Designer. Finally, you'll have an interview with a VP and a manager, covering some technical questions as well as behavioral and fit aspects.
- What difficulties have you encountered collaborating with a PM or designer?
- Can you discuss a project from your previous role?
Software Engineer
The talent acquisition team at Corvus was great. They explained the whole process clearly. It seems like they really care about their open culture. I met 8 people in 5 separate meetings. Everyone I spoke to was impressive. They seemed genuinely interested in me and made sure I had time to ask them questions. The technical part was probably the best experience I had with the Corvids, and it was a big reason I decided to accept the offer. Applying was super easy too, using my LinkedIn was a plus.
- Could you describe a major technical challenge you've faced in your current role?
