First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Corteva Agriscience.
Research Associate
Had a 30-minute call with talent acquisition, which was pretty chill and they told me a lot about the job. Then, the hiring manager and others invited me for more interviews. I had two interviews with international panelists, and they were great people and the environment was good. HR was great during salary negotiation.
- What's making you want to leave your present employer?
Research Associate
This was a really long and drawn-out process for what is supposed to be an entry-level job. The interviewer actually implied that I had already secured the position, only to then tell me they had decided to go with someone else. It was super frustrating, and honestly, I think they should have had someone from HR manage the whole thing from the start. It would have been way more professional.
- They asked me behavioral questions multiple times with different interviewers.
Research Associate
I had a really long phone interview, then waited about 2 weeks, followed by a 4 hour in-person interview. After several weeks, they emailed me asking for a phone call. I was pretty excited to hear back after applying to many jobs over the last year. They called to let me know I didn't get the job, but I was their second choice. It was super disappointing and I wish they hadn't led me on like that. I wouldn't suggest interviewing at Corteva unless you're really qualified because they interview a lot of people for one role and don't communicate much after taking up almost a whole day of your time for an entry level job.
- They asked a bunch of typical interview questions, which they asked repeatedly because I met with over a dozen different interviewers.
