Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Corpay.
Analyst
I went through a few interviews with Fleetcor in Swindon. They mostly asked about my skills and experiences, and one interview included some short mathematical puzzles which I found quite tough. Fleetcor did a great job organizing everything, were flexible, and gave me feedback after my interviews. I was really impressed with the recruiter, Mercedes Mowat, who managed everything from start to finish.
- Could you walk me through your CV?
Analyst
It was multiple phone screens and then a 4-hour onsite interview with 5-6 people. The in-person interviews included behavioral questions and an Excel test. During one interview, another person ate lunch in front of me. Some interviewers read questions from a paper. The whole process felt really drawn out. My main issue is that after almost 7 hours of interviewing (phone and in-person), Fleetcor just sent a generic email saying I didn't get the job. I can't recommend them since they couldn't even take 60 seconds to call me with the news – just really unprofessional.
- Can you discuss a recent project you were involved in, and explain its success or failure?
Analyst
Starts with a phone screening then a technical test. Then onsite 4 to 5 rounds of interviews from Manager to Senior VP. Overall good experience. Follow ups could have been faster. They take you over lunch and try to test if you say something that you shouldn't in a relaxed environment!
- Technical questions like data manipulation in Excel.
- Behavioral questions about your resume.
