Registered Nurse
A recruiter reached out about a week after I applied. We set up an interview with a panel of 6 nursing leaders. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but it went alright, and they tried to make me feel at ease. They asked some questions I wasn't totally ready for, but I managed to come up with answers on the spot. The recruiter mentioned I'd hear back the next day, but it actually took a week.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What draws you to working in the ER?
- Describe a situation where you had to prioritize patients and explain your approach.
Volunteer
After I applied, the interviewer asked me some pretty general questions. They wanted to know why I wanted to volunteer at the hospital and what qualities I could bring to the team. The interviewer was straightforward but also lenient.
- Why did you want to volunteer at this hospital?
- What qualities can you bring to the team?
Housekeeping Attendant
The hiring process was super quick, straightforward, and really relaxed. I felt totally at ease throughout. They kept the questions pretty simple and even mentioned they offer training. Plus, they were cool with me picking the work schedule that worked best for me.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- What were your previous jobs?
Admitting Representative
It was a quick and easy process. I had a panel interview where they asked me questions about my work experience, my knowledge of insurances and medicare plans. Then, they gave me some insurance cards and I had to identify what was the IPA and PCP.
- Could you explain the distinction between HMO's and PPO's and define Medicare Risk Plans?
- Can you describe your previous work experience and your understanding of insurance and Medicare plans?
- Given these insurance cards, can you identify the IPA and PCP?
