The first round involved two consecutive 45-minute case interviews. One case focused on damage analysis, and the other was a merger case, both based on real work done by the interviewers. They also asked about my PhD research and my reasons for pursuing economic consulting. The people I spoke with were very nice.

The process had two rounds. The first round was online and consisted of two 30-minute interviews with analysts and associates. Each interview was split into a short behavioral part (around 10 minutes) and a case (around 20 minutes). I was invited to the AC the next day, which took place in their office and included four 45-minute interviews (with associates, analysts and VP)

Got an interview invite in early Dec 2024 for the first round. Cleared two interviews with people from different offices. Then got invited for the final round at the DC office in Jan 2025, focusing more on anti-trust. It was 4 back-to-back interviews. The last interviewer was kind of rude and unprofessional. Got rejected within 3 business days.

Case Behavioral
An external recruiter set up the process, which consisted of two rounds. The first round involved interviews with a Principal and then a Partner. The second round included an interview with another Principal. Two of the interviews were enjoyable, but the partner seemed distracted and uninterested, showing no apparent concern about hiring me, despite the current market conditions for lateral hires. HR did not communicate with me at all, and the external recruiter had to push to learn about the decision not to proceed. It wasn't a good experience overall.
