First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cornerstone OnDemand.
QA Engineer
So the interview started with a written test, which had 30 MCQs and 3 coding questions focusing on Java data structures and databases. After that, there were three more technical interview rounds. The first of these involved basic Java questions and coding. The third round then went into more in-depth technical questions and coding problems related to arrays. Finally, the fourth round evaluated my overall technical knowledge, including OS, automation, and communication skills.

Quality Assurance Engineer
First, I had a call with HR to set up an interview for the QA role. The interview itself was a panel with 2 people. They seemed uninterested, one asked 1-2 questions without much energy and the other was chatting on his laptop and laughing, which was super distracting. After it was over, they totally ghosted me and never got back or gave any feedback.
- Can you explain basic testing concepts?
- What are OOPS concepts?

The interview process was really well-organized and the panel showed strong technical expertise. They were attentive and even offered constructive comments. The HR team was also great, providing refreshments. It was genuinely the best interview experience I've had.
