Data Center Technician
So my interview process had two rounds. First, a recruiter call, and then a technical interview. I think I did pretty well on the technical questions, answering like 75% or more correctly. Even though I felt I did well, I got rejected in the end. I tried to get some feedback but never heard back from them, which is a bummer. It would be nice if they could give feedback to candidates.
- Can you explain what DHCP is?
- What are the causes and effects of server overheating?
- Could you demonstrate some basic Linux commands?
Data Center Technician
I started with a recruiter reach out, then had a 30min video call interview. The interviewers were nice and easy to talk to, but unfortunately, I never got the follow-up call I was promised, and my emails were ignored. It felt like I was ghosted by everyone at CoreWeave.
- Technical/data center questions and conversation about company culture/personality fit were asked.
Data Center Technician
They email to confirm times with every interview. First interview was with HR, to make sure you're okay with the pay, to go over the role more in depth and make sure you have experience. Second interview was more in depth about knowledge of data centers, troubleshooting equipment, and experiences, but still laid back and casual. Still waiting on a third interview about 2 weeks in, it takes time but is a nice process. Havent gotten offer yet, still waiting.
- Could you describe your process for troubleshooting a server and its components like power and connections?
