Behavioral Technical Presentation

I talked to the team lead first, and then I moved on to a second interview where I met three people from the team. During this interview, they had me do a test right then and there, which I wasn't expecting. Even though it was a surprise, I finished it and thought the interview went pretty well. After we were done, the team lead said I'd hear back by a certain day. When I didn't hear anything by then, I followed up and just got an automatic reply saying they were out of office. A bit later, I got an automated rejection email. I get that rejection is part of the game, but the lack of communication and not following through didn't match what the company says they care about regarding candidate experience. It would have been a better experience if they had given me a more straightforward and quicker update.

The interview process was well organized and moved pretty fast. I had 3 steps in total and each interview was very clearly laid out. The coordinator helping with scheduling was super helpful and got back to me really quickly with any feedback.

Behavioral Other

The biggest feedback for this company is to have interviewers that know what the business does. I interviewed with a TA Coordinator who did not know what the company does. I asked a simple question about what the business's goals are and how they align with TA and he said, "I'm not sure what the business does, even though I've been here for a year... I know it's data centers and stuff... but I'm hoping to find out more this year." It's shocking and baffling that someone who works on the TA team and someone that has worked at a company for over a year, doesn't know what the business does that they work for. Also, just because you're high growth, doesn't mean you should send mass rejection emails to candidates that make it to the final round.
