I had a Teams call with the recruiter where we covered my background, company info, and role details. Then, I had a really good, conversational interview with the hiring manager that went over time. They said it was a 'phenomenal conversation' and they'd recommend me. After weeks of no contact from the recruiter, I got a rejection email. When I asked why, the recruiter said the next interviewer looked at my resume and decided not to move forward. I rated it neutral because the hiring manager was knowledgeable and seemed great to work with, but the lack of communication and unclear rejection was frustrating.

The interview process usually has 2-3 rounds. However, if they really like you after the first interview, you might be able to skip the last one. You'll meet with the VP you'd be working under. The first interview is mainly to get to know you and see if you're a good fit personality-wise.
