The audition process was super helpful for gaining insight into Corepower's philosophy and teaching style. I did my training elsewhere, and did the corepower intensive. It was very helpful with the lead instructors. The audition was round robin style. The manager told me the sequence to teach for C1 and C1. Just 5 minutes. People are so friendly and kind! They just want to know that you feel confident. comfortable and can learn.

To get a chance to teach for CorePower Yoga, it helps a lot if you can teach at more than one studio. You'll audition with other potential teachers. They ask you a couple of questions about yourself and why you want to work there. Then, you'll teach a part of the class you're auditioning for. They're looking to see how you show Core Values in your teaching, like being thankful, smiling, or having a warm and enthusiastic vibe. Managers also like it when you use teaching formulas, like speaking in the present tense. After your segment, another person teaches, and the audition finishes once everyone has had their turn.

  • How do you want your students to feel during your class?
  • Tell us three words that your friends would use to describe you.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process at Core Power Yoga is very formulaic and rigid. I wouldn't recommend trying to work here. It's corporate yoga, which I find ironic because I liked their classes, so I was disappointed by this process.
