I had a couple of phone screens first, one with the recruiter and another with the hiring manager. Then, I had an online interview with the hiring manager and her engineering team. They seemed alright, but a bit awkward. They asked me some SQL questions which I struggled with, and then a basic C++ question. I didn't hear back for a week and then got an automated rejection with no feedback.

So first, you have a phone call with HR, just to see if you can come in for an exam. Then you take a short exam with basic logic questions about CS and SQL. Right after the exam, you have an interview with the hiring manager, mostly about your background, fit, and behavioral questions. HR will grade your exam, and if you did well, you'll meet with the development team and the hiring manager again. This interview has more behavioral/fit questions, technical questions, and a short whiteboard session. The whiteboard session is the best part, the team helps you work through problems and shows how you approach challenges. It's a great experience. The hiring manager and dev team will discuss your performance with HR within 24-48 hours. If you did well, you'll meet with the CTO and CEO for more behavioral and fit questions. You'll also talk with the HR recruiter about benefits and salary. If everything goes well, you'll get a written offer from HR after meeting with the CTO and CEO. Congrats!
