Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Core BTS.
Consultant
The interview went pretty well, they asked a bunch of technical support questions. It was like a deep dive into different situations and problems I've faced, really showing what I know about solving issues and fixing things.
- When setting up a new printer, would you assign it a static IP address or use DHCP?
Senior Consultant
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds. The first was a typical high-level overview, the 2nd was similar, with more questions relating to business acumen and financials, and the 3rd and final round was a case study about a fictitious company that involved a 3-4 hour time commitment and presentation to multiple stakeholders.
- Research a company and report on its performance, explaining how you reached your conclusion.
- General accounting questions were asked.
Principal Consultant
The interview process was pretty standard with typical questions. They seem to be focused on filling roles quickly for billable hours, which is what the business needs, but it feels like you're just seen as a revenue source.
- Do you meet the job requirements?
- What are your salary expectations?
