It was a stress-free and calm interview environment, which helped me think clearly and answer questions easily. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and there were two interviewers. I'd suggest practicing beforehand but not to worry too much.

I applied online for a Copywriter position. After applying, CopyPress reached out and requested I complete some writing tests and sample articles, which I was compensated for. After successfully completing these, I was integrated into their system and started getting consistent work.

A manager reached out to me on LinkedIn for the position. They made it sound like a great job with benefits, flexible hours, and PTO. I had seen negative reviews and heard they didn't pay freelancers, so I should've been more careful. The only step was to write a 'test piece' for $50. I did my best, but they said I wasn't a good fit. Given the company's reviews, I'd be very cautious applying there. I think they trick writers into doing work for cheap as an interview piece. Let's see if my work shows up online later without my consent.

There was no formal interview. The only 'interview' was writing a test piece which was about consumer businesses and B2B, etc. You received resource material as well as style guides. As mentioned my style guides did not work.
