Submitted files on Sep 15th. Got shortlisted email on Sep 27th. Assessment outcome received on Oct 23rd, qualified. Interview invitation received two days later. Enrolled for the interview ten days later, and got the rejection letter the same day. The process was transparent, with notifications at each step. The interview itself wasn't a good experience. It was only 25 minutes, too short for a formal meeting, and I didn't even get to do a self-introduction. Using Zoom can be tricky; the panel was in the same room but interviewed via one laptop, leading to low volume. I tried headphones after a pretest, but couldn't hear anything during the meeting. Had to max out my laptop volume, barely hearing the professor's questions. Without a self-introduction, presenting my RP was the main part, with a 5-minute limit which should have been communicated beforehand. It would have been better if done on campus.

You get invited for an interview with a paid trip. You will present your research work to the principal investigator and the team. The team and PI will ask you questions about your work and your experience. They expect you to be familiar with their research to some extent. They will specifically focus on your contributions to the work you present.

I had an online interview with two professors. Before the interview day, I was asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation about my past projects relevant to the PhD topic. They listened carefully to my presentation, gave feedback, and asked in-depth questions about the outcomes and my direct involvement. We then discussed how my prior experience aligns with the research program, my personality traits concerning research, problem-solving, and working with supervisors.
