Strategic Account Executive
It was a really long process, starting with a recruiter named Michael who seemed cool and explained things. Then I met the hiring manager, which I passed. I was then told I'd meet the CRO, but since I already had a job offer, they moved me to a mock presentation round. I had to pick a product, assign titles, and figure out roles. After that, I got feedback that it sounded scripted. They didn't give much detail on expectations or grading. I was supposed to hear by the end of the week, but didn't. Michael sent a confusing email saying to take the offer even though they were still interviewing. 14 days later, I emailed them and found out they went with someone else. It's heartbreaking, but honestly, I put too much time into it and the process wasn't professional. The reviews I've read are spot on. It's a shame because I saw potential.

So I went through about 7 rounds of interviews, and everything was going great with positive feedback each time. They even set up a flight for me to meet the hiring manager for a final chat, we were booking flights and hotels and everything. But then, after I confirmed if I needed work sponsorship, they just stopped responding and ghosted me. I get that companies have rules, but it was a bummer to not hear back at all, especially after investing so much time. Wish they'd just communicated something, even after all that effort.
- What makes you want this job and to work here?
Art Director
I had a bunch of interviews really fast, like in one week. I talked to the recruiter, the hiring manager, some people on the team, and even an executive from the department. Everyone was super nice and seemed like they'd be cool to work with. Then, after a week with no word, the recruiter told me things were on hold because the team had an offsite meeting. I thought that was a bit weird when I didn't hear anything after that, and then after I followed up twice politely over three weeks, I got no response at all. It's been another two weeks since I last reached out. Honestly, if someone takes the time to interview you, the least you can do is send a quick thank you and let them know they didn't get the job. It's just basic courtesy. It makes me wonder about the company culture when they can't even manage that. I probably won't apply here again.

Copado's interview process was smoother than most others I've been through lately. The recruiters were really professional and kept in touch, and it only took a few weeks from the first chat to their final decision. The steps were: 1. A quick chat with the recruiter. 2. An online test covering cognitive and behavioral skills. 3. An interview with potential colleagues. 4. An interview with the leadership team. Even though I didn't end up getting an offer, I felt like they genuinely cared about making it a good experience for candidates, and everyone I met seemed authentic.
