Sales Representative
The interview process was smooth, First round phone call with Talent acquisition and the second round was a teams meeting with the hiring manager. The communication was easy while scheduling and getting ahold of them as well
- Can you discuss your previous professional experience?
Sales Representative
I had a meeting with a screener, then the manager, and then one of the manager's reps. Everything seemed to go well and the process was moving fast. My issue is that I got a generic rejection email and was taken out of the running. I tried to follow up with the recruiter to get specific feedback on why I was rejected, especially since I had received positive feedback in every meeting. The recruiter ignored my email and calls asking for feedback, which has made this a negative experience for me.
- Can you share an example of a time when...?
- What do you consider your strengths to be?
Sales Representative
A recruiter reached out and I did a phone screen where she mainly asked about my sales numbers. After that, there was a long gap before she scheduled last-minute phone interviews with the hiring manager. The hiring manager and I both found out about the interview 15 minutes prior. Later, the manager came to my city for an in-person, hour-long 1:1. The next step would have been a ride-along with a sales rep. The recruiter was quite pushy, constantly asking about other offers and trying to make me commit. The hiring manager seemed uninterested in me, asking me to walk through my resume twice across two interviews, posing only one other question, and mostly prompting me to ask him questions. He talked a lot about his dedication to the company and tried to dissuade me about the multi-state territory, despite my prior experience.
