They had a few phone screenings which sounded as if they went very well. I was assured that I was the type of person they were looking for. I should have known something was 'off' when the recruiter mentioned 'type' multiple times. Once on site I noticed a lack of minorities throughout the office (which was a dump) and during the interview process many of the questions centered around ethic based questions. I would not recommend Cooper's Hawk to open minded and diverse job seekers.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had 3 interviews for a Manager position and they all went really well, the people I met were super nice. After my last interview with the COO, their secretary told me I passed and an offer would be coming once they had a firm opening date for the restaurant. She said she'd check in weekly, which she didn't. A month later, I called her, and she said things were great and I wasn't being strung along. I called again a month after that because she hadn't called, and she apologized again, saying I wasn't being strung along. This felt weird, so I contacted the area supervisor I interviewed with. He asked me to call back in a week for an update on the offer timeline. When I called, he told me I didn't make the cut. I was confused and upset, especially since the secretary said I passed and an offer was imminent. I then spoke to the COO about the situation. He promised to look into it and call me back, but it's been a month with no call. The lack of communication within the organization and the lack of follow-up is really disappointing, especially since I was excited about the restaurant concept. After this experience, I'm actually glad I won't be working there.

We started with a phone interview, then had a Zoom interview with the regional manager. After that, there was an in-person interview with the general manager. This included a tour of the restaurant and meeting other managers and staff. The whole thing took about 90 minutes.
