First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cooley.
Practice Team Assistant
I went through three rounds of virtual interviews with Cooley. Everyone I talked to was nice and conversational. But after the third round, they just ghosted me. Every time I tried to follow up, they said they'd let me know the next week, but I never got a formal rejection. The whole process took too long and felt like a waste of time.
- Can you describe your method for prioritizing tasks?
HRIS Analyst
I had interviews with the Manager and Sr. Manager on separate occasions. They asked me questions about the Workday technology and also asked behavioral questions. They were both very nice and easy going. Then I had one other interview with the Sand Francisco DOA who also got to know me, and that was more of an introduction and behavioral questions.
- Which Workday Modules are you familiar with?
- Can you explain how to set up Workday modules?
- Walk us through a specific business process step in Workday.
Business Support
There were a few rounds of interviews. First, I met with the line manager, then with colleagues in the US, and finally with the department I would be working closely with. It was mostly about introducing myself and describing my previous work experience. Everyone was very friendly.
- Can you tell me about your responsibilities at your current company?
- Who were your key collaborators at your current firm?
- Did you have opportunities to collaborate with other teams at your current company?
Legal Practice Assistant
Went through three rounds of interviews, starting with HR, then two more with HR and staff members. Things were great until the last round. I wasn't really asked anything, and then HR didn't follow up when they said they would. Ended up being ghosted for weeks before getting a rejection email. Felt like my time wasn't really respected.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
