Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Convoy.
Operations
It was a multi-round interview process. I had individual interviews and a written paper about my approach to problem-solving. I interviewed with several people back-to-back over a couple of days. The paper wasn't too difficult. Some interviewers seemed a bit uninterested and had their own agendas, while others were more engaged.
- What makes you want to join Convoy?
Operations
As a contractor, I skipped the initial phone screen and went straight to the homework. My manager told me that if there were any issues with the homework, we would pass a phone screen to get the in-person interview, however the hiring team did not offer anyone from my team an interview. What I was told and what happened were two very different stories.
- Tell me about a time you failed and what you learned from it.
Operations
It was a simple phone interview with the recruiter. The company seems nice, with good benefits and future plans. They appear to be expanding. I'm not sure how their pay compares.
- Can you tell me what you know about the company and its business?
