Territory Manager
Applied via recruiter, who was super helpful and knew the process well. Took about 2 months total. Started with a 30-min phone screen. Then a 1-hour Zoom with the hiring manager. Followed by a 1-hour Zoom with another district manager from a different area. Then a 1-hour Zoom with the regional director. The holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) definitely slowed things down, but they were still pretty timely otherwise. Also had a call with someone in another territory to go over the daily tasks. Everyone was really nice and seemed genuine, like they were being honest. They're competitive and want to win, but it's a good kind of competition. Got a verbal offer about a week after the interviews.
- Can you tell me about your experience that's relevant to this position?
- When answering questions, can you use the STAR method (situation, task, action, result)?
- What makes you the best fit for this job?
Territory Manager
This was a pretty standard interview process for medical device companies. It began with a phone call. Then, I had two separate one-on-one interviews with the hiring manager. If those went well, the next step was a field ride, and finally, a trip to the corporate office for the last interview.
- Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you handled it.
Territory Manager
It was a 3 step process. First, a phone interview with HR. Then, an in-person interview with the hiring manager, and finally, an in-person interview with the sales director. It was pretty basic and not as involved as some other places I have interviewed.
- Do some research on the company.
