I had a pretty smooth interview with HR, they said they liked my profile and I would move on to the next stage. But then they ghosted me, didn't even send a rejection email. I followed up a bunch of times. After a few weeks, they said they'd let me know if the hiring manager wanted more candidates, and that this stage involved a writing test. Never heard back after that.

I had an initial interview with a recruiter from the Control Risks One team. It seemed to go well, and they mentioned a follow-up interview for the following week, promising an email to schedule it. However, I never got the email, and despite two follow-up emails, I received no response. The interviewer was pleasant, and the role was appealing, but the lack of communication was disappointing. I understand that needs can change and people are busy, so I'm not taking it personally, but it would have been good to have some clarity instead of being left waiting. A friend had a similar experience with Control Risks, where after a final round presentation, she never heard back.

My first interview was with the head of department and a consultant who worked on the ground. We went through my CV and discussed past experience, which lasted around 30 minutes. I was then given a translation to complete followed by a series of questions in order to write an essay of around 1000 words. The whole process lasted around two hours. I was invited to a second interview with two different people and was asked to prepare a short presentation on a topic relevant to the job area. After the presentation I was asked to go into further detail about the information within it and was asked some situational questions about the jobs and how I would react in certain cirxumstances.
