Customer Success Manager
The team at Contentsquare made this such a positive experience. They contacted me regularly to keep me in the loop, and were understanding when I had personal matters come up and also when I caught covid, delaying things. They gave me extra time to prepare for the presentation and provided helpful guidelines. I highly recommend Contentsquare to anyone looking to join in Sydney. The team I met with are great, down to earth and compassionate. The interview process involved an initial recruiter screening, then a chat with the team, followed by a presentation to demonstrate CS skills, and finally a catch-up with the Director.

Customer Success Manager
I applied for a Customer Success Manager role in the UK and got an email from a recruiter who seemed interested. We scheduled a call, but they canceled it 20 minutes beforehand due to a last-minute meeting and rescheduled. The recruiter didn't show up for the rescheduled meeting, so I had to remind them. They then rescheduled again because of another 'last minute meeting,' which was frustrating. When we finally had the recruiter call, it was only 15 minutes instead of 30. They asked me one question and then talked about a role I didn't apply for. A few days later, they told me my application wasn't moving forward, stating they needed someone with experience in a specific application, which they never asked about. It felt like they didn't value my time.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
Customer Success Manager
This was by far the best application experience I've had with tech companies. It was challenging without being too much, and all the stages were relevant, unlike some industry roles where you have extra interviews. Everyone I spoke with was prepared, empathetic, and supportive, making the process feel more welcoming. The process was really clear and structured, so I knew what to expect at each step. The recruiter kept in touch, helping me prepare and sharing updates and feedback. I started with a recruiter screening, then talked to the hiring manager, followed by a role-play with two Customer Success leaders, and finished with a final interview with the hiring manager and the regional HR leader.
- What's your approach to developing a customer success strategy for a new client?
